Please join the Chi Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on October 20th for a Dough Raiser at Uno Pizzeria & Grill in Falls Church! 20% of the proceeds will to go to the Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center Breakfast/Snack Program for low income families. During the event, we will be collecting snacks for the children. A list of the items can be found here.

If you are not able to make it to the event, no worries!  You can come to Uno and enjoy a meal anytime on October 20th. Please be sure to print out or present the "doughticket" on your phone when you arrive in order to contribute to the cause. 

Leading up the event, we will engage in an 18-hour fast for all who would like to participate. During this time (6:30 pm on Fri., Oct. 19th until 12:30 pm on Sat., the 20th), we ask that participants refrain from food (however, drinking water is encouraged). Please consult a physician before fasting, and if you have any health concerns, please do not participate. We will use this time to reflect on this epidemic that continues to impact our world. According to the organization No Kid Hungry, more than 13 million children in the U.S. alone live in "food insecure" homes. Thank you in advance for helping to make a difference in the lives of these kids!
