On April 18, 2002, a long held dream became a reality when sixteen dedicated sisters chartered the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® , Chi Beta Omega Chapter, thereby creating a public policy framework for the sorority to promote its national and international goals.
